Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ripe pear, grated
  • ½ cup yogurt (plain or Greek)
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of ginger
  • 2 tbsp raisins or dried fruit
  • 2 tbsp nuts or seeds (e.g. almonds, walnuts, chia)
  • Optional: honey or maple syrup to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate pear into a jar or bowl.

  2. Add oats, yogurt, milk, vanilla, spices, raisins, and nuts. Stir well to combine.

  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 6 hours).

  4. In the morning, stir and add toppings like fresh fruit, nut butter, or extra seeds.

Variations & Tips

Use apple instead of pear for classic muesli-style.

Make it vegan by using plant milk and coconut yogurt.
Up the protein with a scoop of protein powder or a dollop of nut butter.
Pack in jars for easy breakfast-on-the-go.
