One-Pot Pasta

Introduction

If you’re looking for a quick, flavorful, and mess-free dinner, One-Pot Pasta is your answer. It’s no wonder this recipe is trending across food blogs and TikTok!

🛒 Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti or penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (or fresh cherry tomatoes)
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Optional add-ins:

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Sauté aromatics

    • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant.

  2. Add pasta & broth

    • Stir in pasta, diced tomatoes, broth, oregano, and basil. Bring to a boil.

  3. Simmer until cooked

    • Reduce heat and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente and liquid has reduced into a sauce.

  4. Finish with cheese

    • Stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  5. Garnish & serve

    • Top with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
